Alessandro Scacchia was born in San Benedetto del Tronto (Italy). After art school graduation he started his artist career in 2001, working as a freelance illustrator and producing comics in Italy for traditional publishing companies such as Eura Editoriale and Coniglio Editore. In 2005 he became one of the official artists for the acclaimed indie series L’Insonne. In recent years, he’s increasingly distanced himself from conventional comics, focusing on erotic art, celebrating the beauty of the female form. His work appears in such renowned places as Penthouse Magazine and the alt fetish bible Skin Two. In 2010 he began a regular collaboration with the famous and most irreverent Italian magazine Frigidaire. Alessandro is currently realising his new graphic novel Mona Agent X, which is being serialised in Italy’s X Comics magazine, and which will be coming out in France in 2011.
