Patrice Murciano inspired by Piccaso, Van Gogh and Pollock began to paint like an 8 years old boy in the French city Belfort. Only the “Women” with a big “W”, in 1996 Patrice has created the “Courbisme” style. Courbisme means feminine curves. His first big exhibition took place in New York City 1998 at the Gallery Reza Namazi Soho Broadway Avenue. After this was the art exhibited also in Los Angeles, Osaka, and Paris.
Since 1975 Patrice began to work and live in Montpellier in the South of France. On these days is Patrice painting a new style named “Pop Grunge”, it is a mix of Pollok and Wharrol.
