In addition to Just Me's comments, I thought I might check whether you're using a download manager?

W4B, like many similar sites, uses a unique token system when a download is requested and the token has an expiry time (not sure how long... 20-30 minutes, perhaps?). Generally this is done for security reasons or to prevent people queuing up an entire site to download AFK!

If you've queued up a few downloads using a manager and a token expires midway through downloading, the download cannot be resumed because the token is no longer valid.

Just a thought. I use a DL manager (responsibly, I'll add! It is set to only have one download going at a time) and can generally queue about six downloads on W4B (depending on file size)

Downloads Interrupted

I am not sure if this might help:
I experience that the W4B site logs me out if I am not physically active for a while. An on-going download does not seem to prevent this. I experience that with a short network interruption the download stops. But when "auto-logged-out" I can not resume the download. In the beginning I also thought I am still logged in, but when pressing the refresh button I had to log in again.
Unfortunately resuming a download after having been logged out does not work.
Since my connection is quite stable it has not bothered me too much and I do have some understanding that a site like W4B, which is otherwise very customer orientated and user friendly, does auto-log-out. I can imagine that if interruptions happen frequently it can be frustrating, but I also believe the main issue does not lie with W4B.
In contrast, what I like about this site is that with log-in I reach immediately the "Latest Update" page without going through advertisements or referral pages - a very straight forward and honourable way of doing business. I prefer this over unlimited log-in combined with unwanted referrals, multiple ads, several intermediate pages, and possibly unwanted background activities while having unlimited log-in.
